To apply for a car registration certificate online, you need :

  • the registration number of your car;

  • the transfer code provided by the vehicle owner or the form number that appears on the back of the registration certificate in bold print (this number begins with the year of issue of the title, e.g. 2012RL56325);

  • the date of the crossed-out registration certificate provided by the seller of the car.

While waiting for your new definitive vehicle registration document to be sent by post, the website of the National Agency for Secured Titles provides you with a provisional registration certificate (CPI) that you can print out. This provisional registration certificate is valid for one month.

Don't forget to regularly consult the My Requests section to be informed when your definitive vehicle registration document is sent.
